CONGRATULATIONS on being selected as a MVA during Velocity’s regional season! We are excited to photograph and see all of the amazing MVA Finalist this summer at the 2025 Velocity Season Finale!
All our 2025 MVA Finalist will shoot against these background colors:
MINIS - Pink
JUNIORS - Yellow
INTERMEDIATES - Plum
TEEN - Teal
SENIORS - Purple
You will be assigned an MVA Headshot time from Velocity. You must shoot during your allotted time. No EXCEPTIONS!
MAKE-UP & ATTIRE
We recommend solid bold colors.
Avoid florals, or other heavy patterns. No white, No Neon colors - as they wash out the skin and blowout in photos.
Choose an outfit that represents your style. Please consider the waistline of the pants you choose to wear. We will be photographing headshots but at times can see 3/4 body in the images as well. Please take time to put together a stellar look to create images and memories that will last forever.
No extra jewelry but small earrings are ok. Please take off all watches, bracelets, necklaces prior to entering the photo room.
Think light, fresh and natural make-up. Avoid heavy eye make-up, no stage makeup. When choosing a lip color, avoid shiny lip glosses since the hair will stick. Choose a matte/silky lipstick, this is more flattering for photos. For the younger MVAs, a good natural lip is best.
Come hair ready as you would like it to look in your photos.
EMAIL DELIVERY
We will be sending your images to the email on file with your Velocity Waiver form.
If you feel this email is not correct please visit the MVA Headshot check-in table before your shoot time. We will not be changing emails prior to your photoshoot time. We will not be accepting emails to verify prior.
If you do not have the correct email on file, you will not receive your images.
Please allow 3 days after the shoot to receive the proofs. You will be able to view all the images we captured.
RETOUCHING
CEVENTPICS is offering digital retouching for just $25 per image on your MVA Headshots. ALL orders must be placed by the last day July 6th. Once we close retouching we will not be offering it after July 6th. Images will be delivered in a few days after July 6th.
Retouching includes slight skin clean ups, fly away hairs, ect. Get your photos ready to post with our flawless retouching.

News), Travis Wall, and Twitch. They have directed and photographed campaigns for Capezio, Idyllwild Arts Academy, Velocity Dance Convention, Nuvo, The Dance Awards and numerous other conventions. Included in our live event photography we have photographed: Tove Lo, Ava Max, Hailee Stienfeld, Becky G, Todrick Hall, Jordan Fisher, and Madison Beer to name a few. Our team of photographers have extensive backgrounds in dance, commercial and celebrity photography. CEVENTPICS images can be also be seen in several issues of Dance Spirit magazine.
The owner of CEP, has been a featured photographer for Go2Talent Agency, Clear Talent Group, and McDonald Selznick Associates. He started his days working as an assistant for celebrity photographer, Gilles Toucas, where he assisted jobs for Heidi Klum, Seal, James Blunt, Kate Hudson, Clive Owen, Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Eva Mendez, Amy Adams, and the cast of Bold & Beautiful. Cory has photographed images for Paula Abdul’s Live To Dance. He also photographs dance studio’s recreational and competitive teams across the country capturing each dancer’s greatest potential.
